Eaglemont House
Located in one of Melbourne’s a picturesque enclaves. Drawing from the heritage-laden garden suburb designed by Walter Burley Griffin the design of this project is rooted in the modernist tradition.
It combines the use of traditional modernist materials of steel and concrete with natural stone and timber. The defined horizontal lines of the house allow for large scale open-plan living with thoughtfully composed spaces blending inside-outside spaces seemlessly.
The strategic positioning of the house and large windows offers abundant natural light and views to open green vistas. The house includes several energy conservation systems and computer controlled building automation features. The project also includes rainwater harvesting and water recycling.
